Hello! I’m D. Aravinthan (nickname IDA) working as a Assistant Professor in Department of Physics, Central University Tamilnadu, Thiruvarur, Tamilnadu, India.

Early Years & Education

I was born to Devarasu and Vijayalaxmi on December 19, 1988, in the hamlet of Iluppaiyur in Tiruchirappalli district, Tamilnadu. I am an elder son of my parents and have a brother named Dineshkumar. I had completed my schooling in Iluppaiyur (Primary) and nearby villages Thinnanur (High School) and Puthanampatti (Higher Secondary). I had done my Under Graduation (in Physics) in Nehru Memorial College (Affiliated to Bharathidasan University), Puthanampatti, Tiruchirappalli district and did both M.Sc., and M.Phil., (in Physics) degrees from Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. I have completed my Ph.D. (in Physics) under the Research Supervision of Prof. M. Daniel at Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics, School of Physics, Bharathidsan University, Tiruchirappalli. For my Post-Doc, I have worked as a Research Associate in Prof. M. Lakshmanan’s (S.S. Bhatnagar Awardee, Professor of Eminence & SERB Distinguished Fellow) CSIR Research Project (Nonlinear Dynamics of Spin Torque Nano-Oscillators) at Centre for Nonlinear Dynamics, School of Physics, Bharathidsan University, Tiruchirappalli.

Hobbies & Interests

Reading books especially Novels, Biographies, Short stories and Essays are my all time interest. My favorite Writers are Sujatha, Kalki, Pa. Raghavan, Indira Parthasarathy, Jeyamohan and Sudha Murthy. My interests extend to blogging, installing and debugging software & operating systems. Learning and working in Linux & latex is my passion. I have also interested in observing  share market.
